Looking Back at 2008
Dinners, Events, Parades, & Rendezvous
About 3 dozen or so members gathered at the Rowdy Creek Gun Club on January 26th, 2008 to celebrate the achievements of the past year and enjoy a fine dinner. The main dish of roast beast was provided by the club & cooked to perfection by Wet Dog and Water Barrel. An incredible potlatch supplied all the other dishes and desserts.

Our Club president, Trapper John, had the highest overall score and was named Top Mountain Man for the year.
Just look at that long list of names on the memorial plaque. A special gift of a scrimshawed antler topped off his evening.

Joyce "Lone Feather" was honored as the Top Mountain Woman for the year. She will be the first on a new plaque to replace the previous lost one. Additionally she will keep a wonderful carving done by "Grey One"

Each monthly top shooter was awarded a prize of a feather as well as pee-wees and other special awards. The food was really good since we cook as well as we shoot - or maybe that should be the other way around!
Playing cards were used to award draws off of the loot piles and many exciting gifts found new homes.
