The Jed Smith Mountain Men is a historical and shooting organization re-enacting the period Western Exploration and the Fur Trade during the brief Shining Times from 1800 to 1840.

Monthly, we gather to shoot period fire-arms, that being flintlocks and caplocks, at our club shooting range and exchange history, lore, and skills in a friendly family oriented atmosphere. Safety is our number one concern! Parents, Juniors, and Pee-wees compete against their own levels in a broad array of family events and fun gatherings. We also are involved in fund-raising for a variety of scholarships and worthy causes, as well as supporting the safe and intelligent use of period guns, and the stewardship of our Natural Surroundings. |
