A Word from Our Club President

Black Powder Shooter:
Life is many times a fast pace. Well one thing I like about Rendezvous is the people. When you are camping dressed in your buckskins, the women also in buckskins and cloth dresses, even the young people, short ones & tall ones. You don't know who they are in real life or care. All are here to shoot Black Powder and have a good kicked back good time. Layed back & slow, no big hurry. You don't want to do it today, well do it tomorrow.

The older people are from all walks of life. House-wifes, truck drivers, doctors, lawyers, nurses, police officers, & people that retired from many other kinds of jobs. We all have one thing in common - We like to shoot Black Powder. The more people, the more fun. Like our parade in town on the 4th of July, we always have over 100 Black Powder shooters in the long walk. What a good time!

Oh yes, one other thing at rendezvous: No, I mean NO inlines or scopes or center fire rifles or pistols showed at all! Only old style Black Powder Rifles with caplock or flintlocks.
